Adventure: upcyling a reclaimed window into a picture frame | Evanston Photographer
I love my DIY projects, and this was one of the easiest. I used an old window to make a one-of-a-kind picture frame. I stumbled upon this beautiful reclaimed window at Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse (one of my favorite places!) and decided to pick it up for a few dollars.
I cleaned it up and sealed the frame with polyurethane to prevent paint chips from flaking off. I added two black and white prints using double-sided tape. It’ll be easy to switch them out whenever the mood strikes. Added sawtooth picture hangers to the back, and now it’s ready to go onto the wall.
It’s one of my favorite frames in the house– nothing else like it!
