Portrait: Commencement

Although I don’t have any children of my own, I have plenty of children in my life. I became an aunt for the first time when I was in the 8th grade. My nephew C grew up with us, and we love him like a brother. He graduated from high school on Friday and I was bursting with pride, that the same little boy will be a college man in the fall. I had the privilege of watching him cross the stage and hugging him extra tight after the ceremonies were over. Congratulations on the start of the next phase in your life!
