Adventure: DIY Photo Tiles

I love crafts, especially those that involve my photographs…. This weekend I decided to try my hand at custom photo tiles. Photo tiles make a great personalized gift, and they’re an unique way to share your photographs.

For these, I used ceramic tiles (.20 each at Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse), ModPodge (matte, purchased at Target), spray-on polyurethane, and a 5×7 photo.
1. Slatther ModPodge on the tile
2. Place photo on tile & allow to dry
3. Coat tile and photo with several layers of ModPodge.
4. If you want to waterproof it (for coasters), finish with a layer of polyurethane.
5. Enjoy!!
