Portrait: Mr. Brown

Mr. Brown is a friend of my father’s. I’ve never not known him.  Like my parents, he came to the United States from Jamaica many years ago as a young adult.

When I asked if he’d like a portrait, his eyes lit up and he posed for every shot. Even took off his trademark cap.

I’ve framed this one and will present it to him this weekend.
